Week 10 Picks…Who Am I?

When we travel in the car around town or to Lexington we now play a variety of car games. Tablets and phones have been replaced with imagination and problem solving. One of the kids favorite games is Who Am I!

The objective of the game is to ask questions to get clues of what person, place, thing, or animal the person is thinking of and trying to stump you with. It started out pretty easy for Hiliarie and I as the nouns were easy and few guesses were needed but now it has become quite challenging…especially with Eli!

Michangelo and Monet have replaced Lebron James and Russell Wilson. Bless you, BLPS art teacher!

The reason Who Am I is so relevant now because this is the first weekend of college football in November. Like the Masters beginning on the back nine at Augusta the college football landscape each year begins when the calendar hits the 11th month and temperatures drop.

Here is where we find out each team’s true Who Am I so buckle your seat belts, this will be fun!

I went 6-4 last week to run my record overall to 61-28 (68.5%). Eli went 4-6 last week to take his overall record to 49-40 (55.1%) with just a few weeks and bowl games left.

Missouri @ South Carolina

RB Rico Dowdle follows his coming out party with an encore performance as Gamecocks get to 5 wins with 3 games left.

CC-USC–23 UM–13

Florida State @ N.C. State

Raleigh has always been an interesting trip for the Seminoles. This year as no different as each team jockeys for prime bowl positioning. War Chant all day long as FSU takes control in 2nd half.

CC-FSU–28 NCSU–20

Iowa @ Penn State

The Nittany Lions are on a roll after their signature win against the Buckeyes. Beware! Iowa is still pretty good to keep this close. RB Saquon Barkley goes wild as PSU stays in hunt for Big Ten title.

CC-PSU–24 Iowa–17

EE-

Texas A&M @ Mississippi State

Aggies are way better than Bulldogs as Dan Mullen suffers through his worst season in Stark-vegas! At least Little Dooeys is still open.

CC-TXAM–31 MSU–17

EE-

Syracuse @ Clemson

Basketball season has started for the pride of the Empire State and that does not bode well for the visitors from upstate New York. Tigers will come out sluggish but rebound in 2nd half and cruise to victory!

CC-CU–30 SU–17

EE-

Florida @ Arkansas

UF has the ATL in early December on their minds but tread lightly as strange things happen in Wal-Mart world in November. Gators will give Hogs taste of their own medicine as they run the ball past Bielema’s boys.

CC-UF–23 Arky–14

EE-

Nebraska @ Ohio State

Cornhuskers face their second straight tough road game as Buckeyes await the opportunity to make up ground in the CFB playoff rankings with another resume building win. Down goes Big Red!

CC-OSU–27 Nebraska–21

EE-

Washington @ California

Huskies make their past another tricky stepping stone on their way to undefeated regular season. The Bears become cubs as the Dawgs D slow them completly down.

CC-UW–31 UC-B–21

EE-

Georgia Tech @ UNC

Heels have sights on Orlando in early December as Tech looks to Wreck their hopes and dreams. UNC actually has a good defense thanks to Gene Chizik and he helps his boys shut down GT.

CC-UNC–27 GT–17

EE-

Alabama @ LSU

Coach O has an opportunity to gain a lot of traction to be head man with win here, but the Tide are too good and are clicking right now. As much as this pains me, I just don’t see it happening…someday is not coming this weekend!

CC-Tide–23 Tigers–21

Thanks for reading. We do appreciate it. Until next time…
